On a summer afternoon in 2010, I landed at the JFK airport to pursue a new life in the United States as a refugee. I will never forget that day as the immigration officer asked me, "What are you planning to do?" I replied, "I’ll be an Architect."
Since then, my mission as a designer is to speak about global challenges through design and to empower humans in the 21st century. I am strong advocate for Resilience, Perseverance, Education, Openness, Community, Society, and the Environment.
I’m an architect who believes in the universal language of design for a world that has been built on Algorithms. I love exploring novel ideas and techniques to make new things, ranging from a small product to a the urban planning of large city. I specialize in computational design, data art, and parametric architecture; and I'm continuously researching design methodologies in hopes of integrating the design process between humans and computers that mimics our natural instinctive ways of life.
